Hello mes amis! <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n As usual much has happened in the N.T. community since my last column. Who would have thought the NT tradition of Charity Week would have resulted in an intense Gotcha showdown, such an epic Washroom Survivor, and perhaps the best Charity Week fiasco in history: a hot sauce overdose. Some of you may find this funny or amusing, however, after speaking to eyewitnesses and doing a bit of research of my own, I have concluded that there is nothing comical about the prospect of debilitating acid reflux for the rest of your life.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n For those of you that have not yet taken time out of studying to view the YouTube video of this year\u2019s hot sauce competition (<\/span><\/span><\/span>http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=3k9Sx22MH9c<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>), I suggest you drop whatever textbook you are holding and get to the nearest computer. You\u2019ll witness perhaps the most courageous students ever to walk the halls of N.T. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Now that Charity Week is over, I\u2019m sure your thinking to yourself, \u201cWow! It\u2019s Saturday night and I\u2019m so bored, I wish there was another fun school event that I could be super keen and excited about!\u201d. Well, before you put away your school spirit for the season, there\u2019s one more epic event, that will be taking place at North Toronto that I think I should inform you of: Spring Fling Week. Yes my friends, it\u2019s been lame in the past, even perhaps a \u201cflop\u201d, but this year, things are going to change. How about, Twin Day anyone? Or perhaps, (The) Office Day? For all you sports fans (and guidos\/guidettes) there\u2019s Sports\/Jersey(cough Shore) Day? Finally, a super top secret, surprise, mystery event will be taking place on the final day of Spring Fling Week, so get excited! <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Anyways, I know this column may not have been as funny as you would\u2019ve hoped but realistically, I need to go watch the ladies long program figure skating, so this is the best I can do. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n PS. GO CANADA! <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n PPS. Sydney Crosby, if you happen to see this, I love you, and my number should be located on the 2nd floor women\u2019s washroom, third stall from the left!
