Mr. Pidgeon retired after 17 years of teaching at North Toronto,<br \/>\nleaving Mrs. Desousa to teach science. She can make science (almost) bearable,<br \/>\nstarting each lesson with a fun fact, and bringing a fresh and new perspective<br \/>\nto everything. We get a lot of hands on experience, and I\u2019ve already learned a<br \/>\nlot in the few weeks that she\u2019s been here. She\u2019s very knowledgeable, and can<br \/>\nalways answer everyone\u2019s question. It\u2019s clear that she truly loves her job. Not<br \/>\nonly is she an amazing teacher, but she\u2019s also a nice person, always smiling<br \/>\nand happy to be at school. She\u2019s very approachable, and is willing to give her<br \/>\nstudents extra help, or to stop for a minute and talk.
