Geomatics is a good blend between technology and geography. You will be learning about the four pillars of geomatics: surveying, remote sensing, cartography, and geographic information systems (GIS). Learn how to \u201cacquire, manage, map, analyse, and communicate information about the earth\u2019s surface\u201d. If you enjoyed geography, and love using a
\ncomputer, then this is the course for you. The Digital Environment is a course
\nfor the forward-thinker. We are now living in the age of technology. According
\nto BBC, we spend almost half of our waking hours using media and communications. This new course will give you a hands-on learning experience using common business software. Again, if you love using a computer, then this just might be an excellent excuse to spend some more time surfing the web. So maybe the next time you\u2019re on Facebook, and your parents tell you to go do your homework, you can reply, \u201cBut, this is my homework!\u201d<\/p>\n
