Last month, on November 18th, was a Best Buddies Dance. A fabulous organization that gives children with special needs an\u00a0opportunity to meet and experience new things.<\/p>\n
North Toronto Collegiate Institute was represented, as five of our students attended along with 3 buddies. Our students reported that the dance was in full attendance. There were kids with all kinds of challenges who were having the time of their lives. Daniel was very excited upon arriving and Simon thought it was so much fun. They all danced, and during the break, they enjoyed pizza, chips, salad, pop and cookies. They even had a draw and some of our students won posters and gift certificates. Soon after that, the beat picked up again and the kids got right back on that dance floor to cut a rug!!! The resounding\u00a0consensus was that everyone had a blast and is very much looking forward to the next one. Thank you to all who came out. Best Buddies Organization is a great way for all these kids to get together and meet knew people in a safe and fun atmosphere.<\/p>\n
