Coffee place-Aroma at Bathurst and Bloor: <\/strong>Toronto\u2019s first
\nAroma in the Annex neighbourhood has got to be one of my favourite places to
\npick up an Ice Aroma Light or Quinoa salad. Amidst the trendy stores and brick,
\nVictorian houses, at the corner of Albany and Bloor, this Aroma serves as a
\ncommunity hub, and a place where I and someone else have spent many hours
\nworking on\u2026well\u2026let\u2019s just say it\u2019s in your hands right now.<\/p>\n

Book store-Type: <\/strong>With two locations \u2013 one in the Forest
\nHill Village, one at Queen and Ossington \u2013 Type takes the cake as one of
\nToronto\u2019s coolest bookstore. Not only do they have a great selection of books,
\nbut it\u2019s a great place to pick up some interesting Toronto memorabilia. They
\nsell buttons of TTC subway stops with it\u2019s station colour in the background.<\/p>\n

Clothing store-Heidi*HO2 Yorkville: <\/strong>Located in the swanky
\nHazelton Lanes, Heidi*HO2\u2019s larger location in Yorkville houses cool new
\nclothes, jewelry and accessories. Whether you\u2019re looking for an interesting
\npendant necklace, a brightly patterned scarf, or a cute new dress, it\u2019s
\ndefinitely the place to go if you don\u2019t want to be caught wearing the same
\nthing as someone else. Heidi the owner also has a knack for putting together
\nsome awesome outfits.<\/p>\n

Ice cream-Dutch Dreams: <\/strong>My sister and I both have a
\nrule that we\u2019ll only go once a year; it\u2019s that good and\u2026it will definitely fill
\nyou up. The Dutch countryside inspired St. Clair and Vaughn Road ice cream
\nparlor is hands down the best ice cream in the city. With a range of Oreo to
\nReese\u2019s Pieces covered cones, and hefty scoopings of ice cream like Moose
\nTracks or Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and topped off with some whipped cream
\nand fruit, it is all that you could ask for in an ice cream cone. Caution: Go
\non an empty stomach; the servings are monstrous.<\/p>\n

Favourite Place in Toronto-Casa Loma steps: <\/strong>You may recognize
\nthem from the skateboarding scene in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (which made
\nthe steps seem to go on for much longer than they really are), but it really is
\none of the best places in Toronto to see the skyline. Climbing up the Casa Loma
\nSteps can be a real workout (trust me, I\u2019ve been climbing them for years), but
\nthe reward is being presented with the beautiful. On a clear day you can see
\nthe lake, the ROM\u2019s Crystal, and of course, an unmistakable shot of the CN
\nTower. It\u2019s a great place to come and see how vast our city is, and take
\npictures for tourists.<\/p>\n

Laura\u2019s Section <\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

Coffee place- Snakes and Lattes (600 Bloor Street West- Bloor and Bathurst):<\/strong> Coffee stores have to be one of the most commonplace things around
\nthe Toronto, with at least five within a five minute walking distance from
\nYonge and Eglinton alone. What makes Snakes and Lattes my favourite is that
\nthere is nothing that commonplace about it. Not only is it a great place to
\nhang out over a cup of coffee, but it is also filled with hundreds (literally!)
\nof board games. For anyone who enjoys the rarer Harry Potter ones like me,
\ndon\u2019t worry, they have them!<\/p>\n

Book Store- BMV (Bloor and Spadina):<\/strong> So if any of you
\nhave been to the BMV by NT, you are probably wondering why on earth this would
\nbe my favourite bookstore. And you would not be wondering for no reason – the
\nBMV by school is nothing special. The BMV in the Annex on the other hand, is
\namazing. I first discovered it when I was little, looking for a full set of the
\noriginal Nancy Drews (not the new fake ones printed in only in paperback) and
\nimmediately fell in love. It is two floors of every book you could want,
\nincluding many Indigo no longer carries as they have gone out of print. It is a
\nbook-lover\u2019s heaven.<\/p>\n

Clothing Store- Courage My Love (Kensington): <\/strong>One of the
\nbest vintage experiences in Kensington. It\u2019s so much fun to browse through
\ntheir amazing selection, where you can find everything from jewelry to your
\nwedding dress. My favourite spot within the store: the treasure chest of old
\nbuttons and jewelry.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ice cream- Menchies: <\/strong>Up until a few hours ago I was
\ntotally convinced about writing about the Hollywood Gelato on Bayview (also
\ndelicious by the way!), but that was before I was taken to Menchies. Yesterday,
\nmy friend was horrified that I had never been, and after going I am somewhat
\nhorrified at myself. Though it\u2019s technically frozen yogurt, the wall of
\nextensive and fascinating flavours is enough to make anyone fall in love. And
\nthat\u2019s before you get to the candy section. Word to the wise, they charge you
\nby the weight of your frozen yogurt creation, not a standard amount per cup!<\/p>\n

Favourite place in Toronto- Boccone (south of Yonge & St.Clair): <\/strong>Yes, my favourite place in Toronto (as of right now) is a
\nrestaurant. One day, driven by total starvation, Jess Adamson mentioned this
\nplace she had once been to. We went, and it was so much fun. It is a tiny little
\nrestaurant with pizzas, pastas and paninis. It has some of the friendliest
\nstaff I\u2019ve ever met, and its usually not too busy. It\u2019s the perfect place for
